Nothing definitive to offer, but on the C6 this is often said to be a defective or corroded connector ground wire or ground connection.  Solution is to either clean and or run a new grind wire.  I guess the only way to ascertain is a close inspection.  If nothing definitive, perhaps try running a separate / temporary ground wire. The real electrical wizards here no doubt may offer some real test procedures.
I suppose it may be a bad ignition switch which I would always hold suspect with a flaky electric issue... But usually I think there is more than one device acting flaky.
