What are the units on the compression test numbers? If they're in bar then
those numbers would equate to ~140 psi, which sounds pretty okay. The
chugging, smoke, and fouled plugs sound like a mixture problem.
I'd look at the following items:
All wiring connections in the engine EFI harness, but especially the MAF
connection and the coolant temp connection. Disconnect and inspect closely
each one.
Engine harness grounds.
Fuel pressure regulator diaphragm - check for rupture.
Leaks in the intake system.
Bad MAF?
Bad fuel injectors?
