[s-cars] Front upper strut mounts- right v. left?

Thanks Tom.

The google image reference is simple - I was not near my car when I unpacked
the shipment so I looked up a photo of the correct part number on google
images. I e-mailed Bill and Hildi and I'm sure we'll resolve the matter in
short order.

Tom,

You ordered the correct parts. Bill and Hildi have made one of their few
mistakes if these

parts were sent as replacements. I don't understand the google image
requirement. If you are

comparing the parts on your car with the replacement parts, that should tell
you that the parts

do not fit.

The 4A0 412 377C mounts are identical for right and left. As for the parts
they sent, I do not

know, but don't care either.

I am doing some suspension work on my 1995 S6 and as part of this I am
replacing my front upper strut mounts. The suspension R&R DIY on
Quattroworld specifies part #4A0412377C. I ordered this from
genuineaudiparts.com and they sent me part #8E0412377C. The two parts look
very different on Google Images. Did they send me the correct part?

With respect to the part they sent me, genuineaudiparts.com differentiates
this part for the right and left side of the car, although the part numbers
for right and left are identical. The parts arrived unlabeled and I can't
tell which is right and which is left. Anyone know how to tell the
difference?
