[s-cars] Back in the Audi clan, just not an S-car this time

Totaled my Jetta TDI late summer, refused to settle for anything but AWD to replace it. In consideration were recent Golf R, and B7 RS4. Ended up with the RS4, always lusted after one, couldn’t be happier.

Even better, I’ve found a community similar to this S-car list, of like minded enthusiasts, willing to rip apart and fix/upgrade, and not the poseurs/lightweights on some of the other forums (fora?). Only challenge is they’re predominantly on the other side of the pond, so mechanic referrals are a bit challenging. I have many fond memories of the help this list has provided, so I’ll stay subscribed, and offer my pithy observations from time to time. Feel free to delete!
