My son got one (with manual transmission) two years ago and it's been
a mixed experience. Great car when it works, but if you need to fix
something, its complexity can drive you crazy. Latest example:
starter removal. Before you get to it, there are several pipes, hoses
and the alternator to take out. Access to starter is largely
obstructed by the subframe. I think it's the last straw actually, he
is thinking of parting it out.
So, if you want to work on the car yourself, a Bentley manual and a
lot of patience are necessary.
