I think what Cody means is that if you put an AGM battery on a charger, you
need a charger that can either auto-detect and adjust its charging cycle or
you need to manually switch it to AGM.

My battery tenders have an AGM setting that needs to be used if you have it
hooked up to an AGM battery as well.
