Hi Robin,
This is a been there done that reply. Also refer to the Bentley manual,
either print or on-line; follow it to the letter and think about the
steps it is directing and why. It's great to have a properly working
sunroof and mine has been that way for going on 4 years.

Hi Robbin. Have you considered following the sunroof R&R instructions as
posted in the FAQ section on the Quattroworld URS4/URS6/RS2 forum? It
explains how to remove the sunroof which may enable you to identify and
repair the loose piece, whatever it is.
