Have you replaced the fuel lines from the tank to the pump? When I got the
fuel smell on my car I found that the hose from the tank to the pre-filter
had deteriorated to the point where fuel was almost oozing out along the
whole line! It started right after I filled the tank for the first time
with the MTBE-oxygenated fuels ...

On the 5kCSQPOS I found that the fuel vapors ... and leaking fuel when the
tank was filled too much ... were due to a leak in the tank itself at the
seam. Since the ury carries the tank in the trunk I would suspect that this
would not be so likely, but it is possible.
