[urq] NAC: Oil level in an oil pan

Here at work, we are creating flash animations to train mechanics. Now, we 
are working on the bottom-end module, including oil circuit, water 
cooling, etc.

In one animation, the computer graphics designer drew an engine seen from 
the rear main seal, where we can see the oil level, the crankshaft 
rotating, the oil circuit, etc. 

My problem: the oil level is right to the middle of the crankshaft.

My suggestion: lower the oil level so no part of the spinning crankshaft 
will touch the oil surface.

Our problem 1 : the animation is approved by the manufacturer, and nobody 
saw a problem with the higher oil level.
Our problem 2 : this animation is the base for many many others, and would 
need at least 2 weeks of work to correct.

My question :   - In the car world, can I say that no car engine has a 
crankshaft touching the oil surface? If you are a mechanic-gearhead-car 
guy, would this bother you?

My understanding is that such a setup would create foaming, if not destroy 
the crankshaft at higher engine speeds.
