One thing worth mentioning at this stage, is to unclip all f/line rubber
supports, take them off, clean and protect now exposed parts, and then
turn over the supports, so that slots are facing downwards instead of
up. When facing up, the (salty) moisture collects in there which
promotes corrosion. Additionally I spray those parts with high temp body
wax before and after assembly. No more rust, ever. Works for all metal
f/line Audis, and a must for the salt belt cars.
