Subject: [urq] Starter/Motor Mounts and Repainted Wing in

What a difference!!

I have not been able to start my car with the ignition key since 2000.
I
can't believe that I have been dicking around for so long for a $130
part?????

I could also immediately feel the change that the new motor mounts have
brought. The passenger side was literally toast!! I'll be checking
much
more often in future.

Thanks to Justin Riley for pointing out the mount problem, and Bill
Fluhr
for repainting my wing (ruined by push starts at Grattan back in 01 -
ref
starter motor)

Having everything open certainly gave me fresh insights as to the need
for
proper heat shielding and airflow around the turbo and manifold. Need
to
revisit despite the factory shields being in place.

Cheers

John Corbs
