[urq] Ok - Need help cuz I'm lost? - Turn signals

Here is the basic info...

83 URQ - When I turn to use the turn signals either left or right, the
green arrows just stay on, on the dash. No flashy lights?
How ever the hazards work fine?
I have checked the fuses, replaced the turn signal relay, checked the
grounds at the steering column, I'm getting power at the fuse/fuse box
for the turn signals.
When I use the turn signal lever, I have hear and feel the relay click
one time? is it possible I just got 2 bad turn signal relays?
I'm assuming that the wiring to the left and right signals is ok since
the hazards work?(am I right?)
The rear light panels both have an extra ground strap since that was
known to weak area...
(and don't know if it has any correlation, but when I was looking at it
last night, I could not get my brake lights working either? - but have
not looked at that yet)
 
Any directions or possibilities would be greatly appreciated!

(ok Billy Ray Bob - you can bash me now...I could use it cus I've been
beating my head trying to figure this one out)
