[urq] Ok - Need help cuz I'm lost? - Turn signals

Hi John,
No Billy Bob here but LaR from QC.
Usually, a stuck turn signal tell you one of two things: you have a burned
bulb (not your case), or you have a ground/wire problem. The confusing thing
is that the hazard circuitry will "force" the bulbs to flash, no matter the
bad ground/wire. But if you look closely at each bulb, you'll see that some
are flashing dimly... sign of the problem.
I had this same problem on my car, traced to a bad connector at the front
right. But if both of your lights are out (and the brake lamps too...), I
would guess that you might have a fried connection at the fusebox. This
would explain all the problems. On my car, the parking lamps quit, forcing
me to replace the fusebox.
If this is the case, bite the bullet and buy a new fusebox (less than
150$CAN), you'll be surprised by the results. Bring a friend, a small chair
and the Bentley's wiring diagram (very important...). Should take you no
more than an afternoon and a six-pack.
Best wishes,
Louis-Alain
