Sure, my point was that if you build the CA to the design you posted, and its build from a quality steel, it will be very strong, you could try adding in engineered weakness to help it crumple and fail in a controleld way, but that would require a lot of testing that I don't thing is practical for a part like this.
One other thing I wanted to mention, for my use, a part like this is mainly useful for suspension alignment considerations, I'd love to see it capable of reasonable caster changes, and camber changes up to 3 degrees if possible. Also leveling of the CA arm and basic geometry changes. I'd be interested in heim joints on the bushing side to eliminate any slop there.
