[urq] Koni vs Bilstein

Hey guys 
Happy new year.  My first day in the office since 12/24 or so (tons of email!)....I spent some time up in Telluride and had some great quattro weather.  Lots of snow, lots of fun.  Anyway....

I'm looking for some BTDT on Koni versus Bilstein.  I'm looking to do a strut change ASAP as my car is a wallow-wagon right now.  I believe the struts are original (155k).  As of now I intend to keep the stock '84 springs.  So any opinions appreciated WRT to ride quality, ride height, durability, price etc.
