Yes, A4 fronts will work.  Similarly, any A4 front brake upgrade will work.
So, for instance, you can spend a medium amount of bucks bucks and buy the
ECS Tuning brake kit that uses the TT bracket with _two-piece_ A8-style 312mm
rotors.  You have to find a set of A4/TT brake calipers, too.  But then you
get better braking with lighter weight, though it needs 16" wheels.
