Drive shaft nuts should be broken loose and tightened finally with the car on its wheels and with hand brake applied. If
the hand brake doesn't hold enough, assistant is needed to press the foot brake. Never do this procedure without the car
on its wheels and safely on the ground.
If you remove the plastic cap, you'll find that the size of the centre hole, which is there for exactly that procedure,
allows for the socket access. Use extended 1/2" air gun socket and good quality breaker bar with 3-5' extension. Always
do it by leaning on that bar, if without assistant, since the front wheels would tend to lift and rotate if you use
lifting motion on the bar. Initial tightening and final unscrewing, as well as loosening and CV flange tightening bolts,
one should use wheel bolt in the disc, grip pliers on the disc against the calliper technique. It doesn't need the grip
that would leave the marks, and if any left, would be smoothened with your first brake application. Clean well exposed
thread of the CV and apply some penetration liquid, for much easier job. Impact W method is good for initial tightening
and final unscrewing only. Screwdriver in cooling slot could be used only on new discs, since disturbed particles from
the disc slots could end up on your magnetic ABS sensor, WAG vehicles with ABS teeth on the disc are particularly
sensitive for this technique. If compressed air used, wear a mask; the dust released is a serious health hazard.

Impact Wrenchs are not a good idea around wheel bearings, I beleive the term is burnneling
