Hmmm...
I have a 2002 Audi A4 3.0 Sport Quattro 6-spd and just put the Blizzak
LM-22s on a couple of weeks ago. I have driven it on dry pavement, wet
pavement, snow, and some ice. No problems with handling in any of those
conditions. Yes, ultimate dry traction is less than my summer tires, but by
no means would I call it squirrely.
I am very happy, with these tires, though from what I have heard am not
expecting tremendous tread life.
Not too mention I was able to get them for 40% less than what I could find
Nokians for.
