It so happens that all Abt made was a little front panel and perhaps some
custom gauges ... the modified instrument cluster cover that Abt used to add
the gauges was a standard VW/Audi part used for taxi apps. There was a
similar listing on the parts fiche for the newer style dash, I believe I
posted the P/N long ago, but to my knowledge noone with an urq has actually
seen this part. It is probably too late now, but perhaps if one could find
old VW/Audi taxis from that vintage in wrecking yards in Europe you might be
able to find one.
I heard there was someone who was trying to sell a gauge extension that
attached to the side of the stock IC cover ... anyone here know anything
about that?
