This past weekend I had a great drive to/from some mountain biking up in Winter Park, located about 80 miles west of Denver and accessed via Berthoud Pass- a great winding mountain pass. I took the urq 20V and left my house early, planning to take some other scenic roads (curving canyon roads) rather than I-70, as much as possible. I will tell you- it was a great drive--window down, no music, and brisk air keeping the intake charge cool - the motor was ready to pounce on unsuspecting moving obstacles- otherwise known as old farts smoking in their Chrylser New Yorkers as they made their way slowly up the canyon to the mountain gambling towns of Blackhawk and Central City. The passing areas were often short, all the more fun. By the time I made my way to Berthoud Pass I was ready to really push the car - and my trust was put into the Valentine One. Man that car was flying up the pass- the motor on full song pretty much the whole way. That big F250 turbo diesel that came up behind me right before the first hairpin, all bully-like, well he disappeared within moments. 2nd and 3rd gear pulls out of the switchbacks were awesome as the front Dunlop SP 8000s struggled for grip. I got to the top and was almost relieved....no ticket, either! I believe in "fast up, slow down" (anybody can go fast down hill) so I just let the car cruise down, cool down. What a ride! After a great 3 hour ride, the trip home was just as fun.

Get out there and enjoy your car!

Brandon
