... I added three gauges with no problems ... I'd say try it and see if the
rheostat on the instrument cluster gets warm at your normal viewing level.
The 5000s have a module called something like an instrument illumination
booster ... on the V8 I see one called the "Center Console Light Booster"
... you can figure out how to wire one of these in and you should be worry
free.  Let me know if you'd like help with figuring it out ...
