[urq] intake air temperatures

What I did, was to shroud the IC from the top and
sides, with close cell sponge at the bottom. Fresh
air is diverted to the air box intake via tube and
set of plastic elbows. Turbo, down pipe, air box,
electrics, IM, and surrounding body is shrouded in
alloy sandwich plates that come from mainly BMW
exhaust-petrol tank temp protection. I also used
same, to cover the space behind EM, which prevents
any heat soak from EM or WG to the block, all the
fuel lines to, and can tell you that the difference
is remarkable. Oil temp on fast motorway run has
dropped by 20?C, and don't get temp associated ECU
retard in traffic, which was previously the case. If
anyone wants the pics contact me off line.
