[urq] paint selections:

My '83 is Montego.  I think it looks good and if clean the flares do stand
out, but black is tough to keep clean and when it is clean shows any and all
imperfections.
I've toyed with changing the color when I repaint it, primarily because a
black car with no A/C and no sunroof is very hot in the summer.

dark brown/black metallic.

I fully agree.

Black can hide the flares very well.

I used to have a Gobi Coupe... after a while I got used to it... now kind of
miss it...
I would leave it original, not that the car itself is rare enough.
