Well, each car was essentially hand-assembled by a team that focused
exclusively on the Urquattro, which is why no two are exactly alike. As to
price, the car cost more than a 911SC at the time. And I believe the '84
4kq was more like 14 or 15k at the time. Additionally, there were only 65
1984 Urquattros imported to the US.
But as they say, ya gotta drive one :-) Then there's the Sportquattro aka
Shorty That's really supercar status, with only 200 or so made 45k-65k used.
Parts prices? Don't even go there....

engine, right? Was the turbo engine really worth a $28,000 premium? I mean
both are typ85 cars with quattro. It's not like the body was that much more
expensive to make, they made the CGT which is essentially the same body
without flares for less than the price of a 4000q. Seriosuly, somebody
educate me.
