[urq] I'm timid with moving alternate - belt broke

You have to loosen the bolt where the "tuning fork" bracket attatches to the
block also - this allows the bracket to swing down as the alternator moves.
After the 3 bolts are loose, there may be some sticktion between the
alternator and brackets. I started mine moving by levering between the
alternator and the engine block - you don't have to lever very hard and then
you can wrestle it back and forth a few times to loosen it up. I don't
remember having trouble with the upper bolt - the nut should be on the front
and the bolt inserted from the back - I think I then managed to balance a
ring spanner on the bolt head and let it touch the block and tightened the
nut - once it started to get tight the bolt stopped moving anyway.

Jim.
