[urq] Air Intake (Igloo-to-Turbo) Hose Questions

First off, I need one--really bad (duct tape and aluminum tape looks really bad). Dealer quote was $240, Blau quote is $199, Rod at TPC no gots. Talk about getting hosed!
 
I've spoken offline with a fellow local Ur-Q owner who suggested the Aircraft Spruce method (which I recall from various Audifans posts over the years too). So far, I have not found the threads in question with google...
 
Meanwhile, I'm wondering if anyone out there in Ur-Qland has either the ID dimensions and length of this hose, and better yet a picture of one as well. (I admit, I'm being lazy here in not wanting to pull mine from the car to measure and take photos of--but have mercy on me 'cuz I have to do the timing belt job on my wife's A6q avant this weekend.) I have a lead on a vendor who may be able to put something together, which if he can I will certainly share my results with the list. TIA!
