I think you've got a fine case for voiding the credit card charges on the
whole damn thing -- you ordered a set of complimentary parts, not just the
bits you actually received. Let him worry about how to get half the system
back and start over.

I don't know if stopping in would do any good. I've already contacted my
card company to try and reverse charges - at least for the rear section I
never received. This was not a great week and this was not a great way to
end it....
