  I wanted to run something by you and the Urq Preservation Group. 

  I happen to be Marc's counterpart for the MidAtlantic Chapter (Pennsylvania). 

  I've been doing legwork on Audi history in the US and I recently found out that the NSU USA Club is having their 2005 National meet at the Carlisle PA Import event in May 2005 (appox 5/22).  We are planning on having a corresponding Audi Club get together with them - if you've been to one of Carlisle's events, you know they are huge and so this'll be a really fun time.  If you haven't, Carlisle PA is at the junction of I-81 and I-76 in mid-state PA. pretty convenient to lots of folks. and lodging is NO PROBLEM.  In fact, a lot of folks can easily get there in a day

  Well.working with Eric last year, I was aware that the UPG gets together from time-to-time.  I was wondering if there would be any way to possibly coordinate your annual get together at this Carlisle event as well in May 2005.thereby having a real representation of Audi's history in the US as well has having a great event for Audi Club members to get together from the various chapters - PCC, MAC, NJC, NEC, OVC, etc.  Folks in my Chapter are already excited about seeing NSU's...I KNOW they would flip out seeing a bunch of Urq's!!!

  I've already done some legwork with the Carlisle folks and they're more than happy to put us (Audi Club) and the NSU Club side by side.  I'm sure we could do the same thing for the UPG.  

  I've already gotten the OK to publish in the Winter quattro quarterly an article about the NSU USA club and their 2005 national meet.and our (Audi Club) joining them.  We could readily include some stuff about the UPG having their meet there as well.  This would be another way to get the word out about the UPG as well...

  So.Would you folks be interested in joining us at Carlisle in May 2005? 

  Let me know.But. we don't have much time.  We need to confirm this by Nov 10th in order to meet the Winter quattro quarterly press deadline...
