[urq] Audi A4 brakes for the urq

Somewhere in Phil's post he touched on the big issue, IMO. ***What will fit
under 15 inch wheels???*** Personally, if it won't fit under stock wheels
it's a deal killer. I have no personal experience with stock brakes but I
understand they are fine for street use. IMO G60's have been fine on the
street and on spirited mountain drives. Frankly I thought they were great
on the three tracks I've used them on - never faded, good stopping power and
feel. But yep they are heavy.

I guess my point is that it shouldn't be hard to come up with brake upgrades
if you go with bigger wheels, but coming up with a lightweight upgrade for
stock wheels is the challenge....I know it's been done with Porsche calipers
and custom brackets and Sport Q rotors, and with Sport Q calipers etc, but
something more affordable/more common would be desirable.... There has been
talk of putting A4 stuff under the 15 inch wheels but I'm not sure how that
is an upgrade...is it a bigger rotor? Lighter weight? I'm pretty sure it's
only single piston..

Brandon
