[urq] speaking of heads and gaskets and such

I recall from my VW days that the 16v manifolds are relvatively direct 
swaps (not considering compression changes) onto 8v blocks.  Since the 
5cyl engines are more or less 4cyl engines with one extra, I've often 
wondered why the 20v heads don't fit on the 10v engines?

I've been led to believe oil/coolant passages don't line up.  Is this 
true?  On the WX and WR, I don't have trouble believing this, since the 
lifters don't take oil, but is this also true of the hydraulic-head 
engines like the MC?  Always looking for a cheaper 20v solution.
