[urq] Ball Joints revisited

        Since they have been reported as virtually unobtainable I set out to 
see if I could locate some new ball joints for my 83 UrQ VIN WAUDC085DA900214. 
If I read the 'ETKA' on this french site,

correctly it appears that up to VIN 85-C-902 000 the left and right joints 
are:
847 407 365C and 857 407 366C respectively,
and from 85-D-900 001 to 85-K-020 000 they are:
857 407 365E and 857 407 366E


       As my car is an early 83, actually on the road in mid 82, it would 
appear that it still uses the 'later' ball joints yet has both the 'old style' 
front anti roll bar connections and a rear anti-roll bar. Is it just the really 
early 82 models that use the unobtainable ball joints,  mine has the 'later' 
joints but still retains the 'old' roll bar arrangements, and 84+s used the 
same ball joints but changed the front anti-roll bar connections and dropped the 
rear anti-roll bar completely when the sub-frame was changed to the 4000Q 
type?
