[urq] Slipping clutch

 What all did you change. Did you do the Pressure plate as well as the disc? Resurface flywheel? If so, really no explination I can think of, aside from weak components. Or, a rodent, as already explained. I can honestly say I've never seen a clutch destroyed by one, but it wouldn't surprise me. I've seen them destroy everything else on a car. Wiring is my favorite :-)

Here's my situation- My clutch is slipping after 28,000 miles, I haven't had it at the track and am not a clutch abuser. The clutch was replaced during an MC engine swap. Any ideas what could have caused this? I have an oil leak from the oil pump gasket but consider this a very remote possibility. When I look from the top through an opening in the bell housing, the flywheel is dry. Rear main seal was replaced at the time of the engine swap. Is there anything that experience should tell you what should be replaced- ie: possible sources of oil leaks etc.- when the clutch is replaced?
