[urq] intermittent ignition cutout, tach drops to zero

I just removed the ignition module and the bottom of it is coated with what looks like
white lithium grease.  Should I clean this off and replace it dry or does it serve some
sort of purpose?

The loaner ignition module that I have is clean on the bottom but there is some evidence
around one of the screw holes that it had the same white goo on the bottom at some point
previously.

Should I transfer some of the stuff to the "new" module before I install it?
