Andrew,
If your head gasket is bad and you continue to drive the car, you will
eventually damage the head and block.
The combustion will wear a nice groove in both at the spot of the bad
gasket.
The previous owner of my car did that to the original WX.
You can have a machine shop measure the flatness of the head if you think it
is warped.

I found that my car has been burning a little coolant after my little
overheating incident...not sure if I blew a gasket or warped the head,
but I'm going to make plans to pull the head sometime in the near
future.
Any suggestions on how to tell what is wrong? I figure the head
gasket may be fairly obvious (damage, crack, pieces missing) but if
it's a warp, how will i know? Any good websites on the process, or
tips for planning it?
Thanks (yet) again,
-Andrew
