If your engine did not run on 100% synth all it's life I would not consider switching unless you are willing to risk all kind of leakages. If it did run on synth I would recomment 4.5 liter Castrol RS 10W60: I'm using it for the past 4 years, burning max 0.5 liter/10.000 km. FWIW.
Filters only OE (dealer): normal P/N 035 115 561, turbo P/N 035 115 591, but they are all FRAM I believe.
For easy ground clearance jack up the car (I use mini ramps, AKA baby bridge in Holland). The plug is easily located at the bottom of the oil pan. Please use new washer. The turbo filter is a pita though, you will need a special FRAM tool with hex adapter (try your local DIY shop).
All in all easy job. Please consider regular oil changes (10.000 km normal, 20.000 km turbo filter)
HTH.
