[urq] In car fuel odor - SOLVED

There is a drain hose from the filler rubber neck, and it should lead from
it straight through the trunk and down to the outside of the car... even if
the gasket fails the fuel should enter the trunk through that hose and exit
to the outside...

Check if you still have that hose..

Interesting, I've noticed a slight fuel smell every time I ever fill
my car up.  I tend to drive it till it's about empty and then fill it,
so it's a reliable occurance.  I guess in my case it could be the
extra gas that comes out of the pump nozzle but doesn't end up in
actual filler pipe.  I'll have to give that a try.
