[urq] DO I still use the large round thermostat gasket if I removethermostat?

... think carefully about trying to run the system without the t-stat ... if 
you look you will see that the t-stat controls flow in more than one 
channel.  I'm not sure what happens if you remove it completely.

As to the hole in the t-stat ... I've seen it on brand new units ... not 
exactly sure what the purpose is, but since the manual instructs one to 
orient it pointing up I've always assumed it was to ensure any air in the 
system doesn't get stuck on the wrongs side of the t-stat ...
