I feel your pain as I have an 83TQ in my garage that I bought back from my  
carrier. When it goes back on the road it will be covered with an agreed value  
policy. Many insurers will write these. There is a code number for the policy 
 type that escapes me at the moment. There are companies like Grundy that  
specialize in collector cars. They do not hassle you or make you pay too much.  
Some are cheaper than regular policies. With the value set up front and 
reviewed  regularly you will not be fighting.
