So I took a look at the most recent Automobile Magazine - the "Speed Issue" and on the cover down in the corner it says "4 great quattros" and I figured "no...?  they wouldn't.... we'll see how great they are"

So I open up to page 82 or so and what do I see a pic of an ur-quattro, Sport quattro and an A2 - and deeper in the article is an S1.  Hot damn that's cool!  Fairly decent article - nothing we don't already know but it's nice to see our old cars get some recognition.

Kind of a bad ending - they say something like decent cars in original condition fetch about $2500.  I'm assuming by original they mean not repainted, re-upholstered or rebuilt or anything.  KAR of Minnesota has a ~5000 mile car with a very high price tag...

Anyway - nice one to add to the stack of urq memorabilia.
