Guys,

My WX is pushing oil out of the valve cover filler neck during hard engine
deceleration. I have replaced the cap and gasket, and the filler neck is
still square at the opening. I'm thinking the issue is a clogged or
inversely installed PCV check valve, but I am unsure of this. Anyone else
have this issue currently or previously?

TIA,
Jim

My WX recently started doing the same. It not only pushed out of the filler
cap, it would blow the dip stick out. I immediately assumed I had blown a ring
or such and was consequently pressurizing the crankcase.

I first checked the crankcase ventilation system and it operated to spec.
A compression test showed # 2 cylinder was down to ~75 lbs. I figured that
was my smoking gun, and made arrangements to replace/rebuild the motor. On
disassembly number 2 cyl. looked exactly like all the rest. The rings and cyl.
wall appeared to be fine with cross hatch still visible. The valves also all
looked uniform across the head. The rod bearing for #2 was however rather
hammered and would not have lasted too much longer.
I put a different engine in it and the old unit is still on a stand in my
garage mocking me to discern what happened with it.
