There are some fancy (read pricey) commercially made versions of the rubber strips on the 
wall, sort of like the automotive equivalent of 'fenders' for boats (or docks).  A nicer 
looking solution, anyway, if you can stand the price.  Try www.griotsgarage.com

Since we're talking Garages - and the urq has no rubber molding on the door I often wack 
mine into the concrete block wall of the garage.   I have to park mine 1 foot from the 
wall.  I'm always curious about gluing some rubber strip to the concrete blocks.   Same 
problem with a retaining wall next to the driveway.  Any ideas?
