Hi Guys,

we got our first snow here in Finland last night! This means I'm going to go
training left foot braking techiques for the first time with the urq after
work today!! Lets hope the snow doesen't melt during the day... It will be
very interesting to see how my beloved urq performs on snow.

I am especially keen on testing how the torsen makes the car behave. Has
someone experiense of a torsen urq on ice? Can you feel any changes in under
and oversteer?

By the way, I spotted a new urq here in Helsinki the other day. It has to be
an -87 WR while it doesen't have the rectangular diff lock knob like in MB
and RR cars, and not the push/pull switch of the earlier cars either. In
what years was the round diff lock (not the push/pull but the twistable)
knob produced? The car was finished in the magnificent Mother of pearl
paint. I have to say that this color suits the quattro very well, but it has
to be a PITA to fix scratches...

Regards,
Johan Hisinger,
