I've had a set of H&Rs and Koni yellows on my '82 urq for 10 years (car now has 45 K miles, so it isn't a daily driver). The setup have taken the car to driver's schools at NHIS, Lime Rock (multiple times), Watkins Glen (twice), Mid-Ohio, and Road America, and I have not had any problems with the Konis leaking or the suspension bottoming hard. However, some slight tire rubbing under very hard braking.
I did find that the ride is very sensitive to tire air pressure--and yes, I still run 205/60x15 tires; at 28 psi all around, the ride on the street is acceptable; at 32, psi it's pretty harsh. 40+ psi has not been a problem on the tracks I've been to. The Koni and H&R combo compensate for the 60-series tires I use on 7" Fuchs and provide very responsive handling on the track and the street.
