Robin,
If the Audi was rallied in North America, it should have a log book.... that
should list the pervious owners, and maybe the build date etc. If you are
considering to rally the car this would be important. If there is a log book
it will state what events it was in and how successful (important, to finish
first, you have to first finish). If it has no log book, then you would
have to make sure the cage and safety is up to date, rules change.
Just my two cents worth.

Dear Audifans:
I am considering buying a 1990 Coupe Quattro Rally
Car. It is pearl in color with an rs2 bumper and 20v
turbo engine, full cage, and all the rally stuff.
The car was owned by someone in Orange County, sold to
someone in Santa Clara and then sold to the present
owner in Florida.
It appears to be a very well built rally car.
Anyone out there know the history?
Thanks
Robin
