Folks, maybe our quest for the NLA bushings is over.

A friend's relative is the owner of a small machine shop located just about
5 km from my home. He is willing to produce us a batch of the early urQ
bushings, in poly, if I can provide him a template. Next week, I will bring
him my used bushings, just to have an estimate.

Then, if the price is right, I will start a small batch of both the outer
and the inner bushings. I will also coordinate the shipping and the money
collecting. Usual disclaimer.

In the meantime, I have a few questions that anyone of you can help me
answer:

1- What material should we use ?
2- What is the tolerance between the bushing inner hole and the swaybar ?
3- He also offered me to fabricate some stainless steel straps for the
bushings, any interest ? I know I replaced one on my car, and it was a 35$
affair, so there is maybe a few $$$ to save here.
4- And BTW, if you want another part to be replicated, just ask and I'll see
with him if it is feasible. It can be anything in Aluminum, SS, plastic or
even plain steel. We discussed the question of reproducing billet ball
joints and, why not, front bumper plugs !
5- And the most important question : what color ? (lol)

So, let's discuss this very interesting project, maybe this time it will be
a go !
