If your car is having problems maintaining speed under cruise control I'd
recommend looking for something else wrong ... like sticking in the speedo
cable or a slight vacuum leak in the cruise control plumbing.

Agreed-perhaps the cruise control computer needs to be recalibrated to the
improved throttle response associated with the LWFW? If the throttle input
motions remain constant but the throttle response is improved due to the
LWFW, it would make sense that the system would not work as efficiently, no?
Then again, I am not very smart and know very little, so take all this with
a grain of salt or two...
