... you need to provide us with more information. What battery voltage do you measure at the battery? Do you see greater than 12.6 volts at the battery when the engine is running? Does the car have the under dash or under hood fuse box?
My sneaking suspicion is that there is an issue with the ignition switch, or perhaps there is a grounding issue some where. If you have them, I recommend that you sit down with the wiring diagram and look at the circuit for the warning light and the brake light circuit to see where they meet ...
... if I had my Bentley wiring diagram I might have some more concrete recommendations. If you don't have any luck, post back and I'll dig it out.
