I came a bit late to this thread. Extrememly disappointed you have fixed it
as I was going to tell you it was irrepairable and the only sensible course
of action would be to send it over to me in the UK to see if I could find a
use fo the remainder of the car. A sport quattro did you say?, only made a
few, never really popular.
Seriously though, glad you got it fixed. I liked the some of inventive ideas
suggested to get around this as I've often pondered what I would do if this
happened to me.
