[urq] The usual swaybar bushings question...

Hi friends,

Anybody has installed a newer style (à la 1984 and up) swaybar on an older
style subframe ?

If so, then which parts did you use for the inner bushings and end links ?

Thanks in advance,

Louis-Alain

Note : I always found strange that the "swaybar" was also known as a
"stabilizer bar" in some circles.
The explanation lies in the fact that this bar has a dual role on a pure
McPherson suspension like we find on a type 43 or 44. The bar controls, or
stabilizes the movement of the lower arms (which are not a-arms, rather
i-arms) and also acts side-to-side to control the lean of the car.
On our type 85, which has a pseudo-McPherson suspension all around, the
swaybar role is only to control lean. It doesn't "stabilize" the lower
a-arms. So it is really only a swaybar...
