On Saturday I came up on a heavily tweaked Chevy Nova that looked  really 
nasty fast. Sounded it too. I know most of you probably aren't into that  sort of 
thing, but this was a tastefully and understated fantastic prep. No  wings or 
such, and the massive rear tires were all tucked under car with a  narrowed 
rear axle.
I followed for a mile or so just admiring and listening, and as I  slowly 
passed he gave me a thumbs up. It seems we had both been  observing each other. 
Very nice when two different genres can admire one  another. Very nice indeed.
